Number of sessions

The number of sessions may vary according to each case, but in general 2 to 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, are recommended. Frequently asked questions about Gynelase® CO₂

Is the treatment painful?

No. It is performed without anesthesia and is usually well tolerated. Some women notice a slight warmth or tingling during application, but it is not painful.

How long does recovery take?

No downtime is required. You can return to your normal activities the same day, although we recommend avoiding sexual relations and intense sports for 3 to 5 days.

When are the effects noticeable?

Many patients notice improvement from the first session, but the effects are enhanced over time and usually stabilize after the full protocol.

How many sessions do I need?

Generally between 2 and 3 sessions. In cases of mild incontinence or laxity, one booster session per year may be needed to maintain results.

Are there any contraindications?
